RACHEL YORK (Billie Burke)

Rachel York is a dynamic and versatile actress, singer, dancer and comedienne. She is best known for her critically acclaimed Broadway performances in City of Angels, Les Misérables, Victor/Victoria (Drama Desk Award), The Scarlet Pimpernel, Sly Fox, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Rachel also turned heads on television with her courageous portrayal of Lucille Ball in the CBS movie Lucy. Off-Broadway Rachel first earned recognition, and a Drama Desk Award nomination, opposite Julie Andrews in Stephen Sondheim’s Putting It Together. She later earned another Drama Desk nomination for her deft portrayal of Ruth Sutton in the Lincoln Center Theatre production of Dessa Rose. Recently Rachel received rave reviews as gal pal Dorothy Shaw in the delightful New York City Center Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She also recently starred in The Best Is Yet to Come: The Music of Cy Coleman, a snappy musical revue conceived and directed by David Zippel, librettist for Cy Coleman’s City of Angels. MICHAEL HAYDEN (Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr.)

is most known for playing Billy Bigelow in the award winning revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel on both Broadway and London's West End (Theatre World Award, Olivier Nomination). He also starred on Broadway in Cabaret, Judgment At Nuremberg (Tony Nomination), Enchanted April, Henry IV, and Festen. His other New York credits include Lincoln Center's Dessa Rose, Roundabout's The Language of Trees, and most recently, Shakespeare in the Park's Measure For Measure and All's Well That Ends Well. Hayden is also well known for playing Chris Docknovich on the television series "Murder One" from 1995-1997. His other film and television credits include Charming Billy, Thick As Thieves, "Law and Order", and "Hack."

Daisy Eagan (Molly Cook)

Daisy Eagan began her career at the age of two, playing a Bag of Wool in a preschool production of Baa Baa Black Sheep.  From there, she went on to become the youngest female ever to win a Tony® Award for her performance as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award nominations).  Her other theater credits include Les Miserables (Broadway), James Joyce’s The Dead (Original Broadway production), Be Aggressive (world premiere at La Jolla, Garland Award honorable mention, and regionally at TheaterWorks), On the Mountain (world premiere at South Coast Reparatory), A View from the Bridge (South Coast Reparatory), The Wild Party (The Blank Theater Company, 2006 LA Weekly Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical). Her film and T.V. credits include “Losing Isaiah” (Paramount), “Ripe” (Trimark), “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding” (Green Street Films), “Without a Trace”, “Ghost Whisperer”, “Numb3rs” and “The Unit” and “The It Factor”.  Daisy is a co-creator, co-writer and performer in “Krystal Park”, a soap opera set in a trailer park, pieces of which can be found on YouTube. After taking 3 years off to finish school and regain her sanity, Daisy has returned to performing, premiering her one-woman show Still Daisy After All These Years in 2010 in Los Angeles and at NYC’s Laurie Beechman Theater in 2011.  She can also be seen around L.A. in various cabarets and benefit performances.  More info on Daisy can be found at www.daisyeagan.com. Rachael Fogle   Rachael Fogle (Olive Thomas)

NYMF debut! National Tours: Broadway’s Little Women (Jo/Meg understudy); and Junie B. Jones. Other recent credits include: Into The Woods (The Witch); and Brannigan's Blarney (Chatham Theatre). Rachael has performed the lead role of Olive Thomas in two previous readings of Ghostlight and is also featured on the show’s demo recording. Utmost gratitude to her beautiful friend Tim for his unyielding confidence in her, and Matthew for his brilliance and patience. Also to Elvin, Paulette, Michael, Dina, and everyone in the Ghostlight family who contributed to getting this off the ground. Love to Hans Gug.

     
Kimberly Faye Greenberg   Kimberly Faye Greenberg (Fanny Brice)

NYMF debut! Kimberly is the first and only actress in NYC currently playing leading roles in two legit Off-Broadway Musicals at the same time: Fanny Brice in the solo show One Night With Fanny Brice (having originated the role and recorded the cast album now available on the Original Cast Records label) and Sylvia Fine in Danny & Sylvia: The Danny Kaye Musical, now celebrating its third year.  Kimberly would like to thank Tim, Elvin, and Matthew for allowing her to play Fanny again in Ghostlight!  A graduate of University of California, Irvine, Kimberly has performed across the United States in national tours, regional theatres, cabarets and theatre for young audiences. Previous roles include: Nell Henderson in Mr. President(Actors Fund Benefit), Sylvia Fine in The Kid from Brooklyn: The Danny Kaye Story (tour), and Mother Mary in the Off-Broadway Revival production ofChristmas Rappings by Al Carmines (Theater at Judson).  On the small screen she has been featured in such TV shows as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Charmed", "ER" and as the host of the Educational TV Series, "Personal Best".  Kimberly is also the Creator/Executive Producer/Host of www.BroadwayBlogspot.com, an educational theatrical website featuring people who work both onstage and behind-the-scenes on Broadway.  www.kimberlyfayegreenberg.com.

     
Matt Leisy   Matt Leisy (Jack Pickford)

is currently starring as Matt (the Boy) in the The Fantasticks Off-Broadway. NYMF: The Hatpin. Other credits include Scripps in The History Boys (St. Louis Rep, Arden Theatre – Barrymore Nomination), Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Mordred in Camelot (Pennsylvania Centre Stage), Great Expectations (Mill Mountain Theatre), Oliver! (Westchester Broadway Theatre), The Sound of Music (Broadway Asia), The Importance of Being Earnest (Charleston Stage) and numerous workshops, readings & independent films. Lindsey is so excited to be making her NYMF debut! Mark Donaldson   Mark Donaldson (Frank/Ensemble)

NYMF Debut! National Tours: Fiddler on the Roof starring Harvey Fierstein (Sasha/Fyedka US) and the 25th Anniversary Tour of Cats (Mungojerrie). Regional appearances include Sacramento Music Circus, The Fulton, The Arvada Center, Westchester Broadway and the premiere of Disney's Toy Story the Musical. Mark is originally from Rochester, NY and has a BFA in Musical Theater from The Hartt School. Kristen Gehling   Kristen Gehling (Doris/Ensemble/Billie u/s)

Kristen will be married two days before this run begins! She couldn't be happier to be sharing her honeymoon with this incredibly talented cast and creative team. She is a proud graduate of NYU's Tisch School (CAP21) and a NH native. Most recently she was seen in MITF's Between the Bricks as East.  Favorite credits include Georgie in The Full Monty (Barter Theatre), Miss Olson in Promises, Promises (MGR Playhouse), Robert Anne in Nunsense (Shawnee Playhouse), and Future in Alan Menken's Christmas Carol (Broadway Palm). She will forever be in debt to Tim, Matt, Michael, and Elvin for taking a chance on her. For my fiance, Tom.

     
Jeff Kuhr   Jeff Kuhr (Ensemble/Photographer)

is really excited to be a part of Ghostlight and NYMF! Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, a graduate of Point Park University, and has performed regionally and all over the world on cruise ships. He just finished Miss Saigon at Sacramento Music Circus. Other credits:Custus in Crazy For You (Maltz Jupiter Theater); Spamalot (Regional Premiere), Oklahoma, Funny Girl (Sacramento Music Circus); 42nd Street (Fulton Theater); All Shook UpThe Producers (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse). Rose Ouellette   Rose Ouellette (Ensemble/Olive u/s)

This is Rose’s NYMF and New York debut. Favorite roles include Polly in Crazy For You (Moonlight Amphitheater, SD), Marcy in I Love You Because (Grand Central, CA) andMaureen in Rent (Little Theater, CA).  A Colorado native, she recently graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Rose is beyond honored to be a part of this amazing production and sends special thanks to Matthew, Tim and Michael for the experience. Gregory Pember   Gregory Pember (Ensemble/Radio Announcer)

Gregory is thrilled to be making his NYMF debut with this exciting show!  He was last seen in the Ensemble of Chicago at Flat Rock Playhouse (directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge) and before that as the title role in Hamlet at The Roxy Regional Theatre. Last year he played Jared in the SpeakEasy Stage production of Body Awareness in Boston for which he was nominated for an IRNE Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama. Favorite Roles: Che (Evita), Ambrose (Hello Dolly w/ Victoria Clark), John (John and Jen). Brendt is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Music. CARA PICONE for GHOSTLIGHT THE MUSICAL  
Cara Picone (Assistant Stage Manager/Production Manager) is thrilled to be a part of the creative team for Ghostlight. This spring, she appeared in its first New York reading as well as the show's demo recording, and she is honored to help bring this wonderful show to NYMF. Cara holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University. Favorite performance credits include Ragtime (Emma Goldman), Carousel (Nettie Fowler), Camelot (Lady Anne), Footloose (Vi Moore), and Sweeney Todd. Directorial credits include The King And I, Our Town, and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Cara is ecstatic to be making theatre with some of her dearest friends; she would like to thank Matthew Martin, Tim Realbuto, and Elvin Roytman for letting her be a part of the follies, and of course, all of her amazing family and friends for their never-ending support and love.
     
    Matthew Martin (Book, Music and Lyrics/Co-Director)

Matthew has majored in Acting at Marymount Manhattan College and Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School where he received the Jane Oliver Award for Excellence in the Theatre. He subsequently performed alongside Josh Groban at Madison Square Garden and in Rosie O’Donnell’s Broadway Concert Series at the Zipper Theatre. As an actor, his favorite roles include Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls; Mayhew in Witness for the Prosecution; Readymoney in The Threepenny Opera; and Godspell. He has also lent his voice to various books on tape for Simon & Schuster as well as several recordings and demos. Since then, he has worked in retail, advertising, education and food services. This is his first foray into writing for musical theatre.

     
Tim Realbuto  
Tim Realbuto (Book, Music and Lyrics/Co-Director)

Tim was born in Brooklyn, New York and fell in love with musical theatre at a very early age. He has been involved in all areas of performing arts, but obtained a B.F.A. in Acting from Five Towns College. As an actor on the New York stage, he has appeared as Antigonus in The Winter’s Tale Project (Fringe Festival- The Village Theatre); Franciscu in White Widow (Off-Broadway premiere); Boyet in Love’s Labours Lost (Shakespeare in the Parking Lot); and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Brooklyn Theatre Arts Project). Other favorite roles include Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar; Louis Ironson in Angels in America; and The Baker in Into the Woods. On film, he appeared in The Emperor’s Club (opposite Kevin Kline); Sex and the City: The Movie; Deconstructing Harry (directed by Woody Allen); One True Thing (with Meryl Streep and Renee Zellweger); Uptown Girls; Enchanted; and Fighting. He was also featured on HBO’s “The Sopranos”; “Law and Order”; “Law and Order: SVU”; “Ed”; and “Strip Search” (also for HBO). Tim’s play, Blame It on the Oysters, was produced twice, including a fully mounted production at his college (which he also directed and appeared in). He has written three screenplays, Father of Mine; The Hyde Club; and Once Upon A Time In Brooklyn. This is his first foray into writing for musical theatre.     Michael Kidney (Choreographer)

Michael is thrilled to be making his Off-Broadway choreographic debut with Ghostlight at NYMF. He studied tap from the age of 11 with Rita Hamilton and soon moved on to study many other styles of dance. Michael is a graduate from Queens College where he earned his BA in Dance Performance and Choreography with Honors. He has had the privilege of studying with and performing works by Yin Mei, Jennifer Jessum, Te Perez, Marshall Davis Jr., Susan Matthews and Jacqui Malone. Michael is currently a jazz, tap and modern teacher in St. Alban’s NY. He is also a founding member and current Artistic Director of Collision Theory, a modern contemporary dance collective based out of L.I.C. NY. Michael would like to thank Dina & Elvin for their support, Matt & Tim for writing such a brilliant work, all of his friends (you know who you are) & “extended” family. He would especially like to thank his Tante for introducing him to the art of theatre, Mama for always believing in him and her endless support and his very special angel looking down upon him.

     
   
Massimine/Roytman/Presentations (M/R/P) (General Manager), is a NYC-based commercial producing and theatrical management entity established in 2009 by Christopher Massimine and Elvin Roytman. Combined producing and management experiences span from festivals to regional enhancements through Off-Broadway theatrics with Broadway-bound productions in development.

ELVIN ROYTMAN GHOSTLIGHT THE MUSICAL  
Elvin Roytman (producing consultant) is one who wears many hats. A Brooklyn native, he has been a lover of the theatre ever since his parents introduced him to the art form at the tender age of 9 with the very child-friendly Sisters Rosensweig. This love of the art translated into attending Murrow HS in Brooklyn, where he met and became best friends with one of the writers and the choreographer, and became involved with dozens of productions. He went on to graduate NYU, with honors, with a Bachelors of Music in Voice/Music Theatre and a minor in Dramatic Literature. Since graduation, he has danced, sang, and acted onstage in tours, regional productions and Off-Broadway, as well as dozens of movies and television shows; he is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA/EMC. He has taken a break from performing to pursue his passions on the other side of the curtain. He recently Technical Directed a season (under Cara Picone as Director) and started his own production and management company with NYU classmate Chris Massimine. He is happy to be completing his Festival Hat Trick (first the Fringe, then MITF, and now NYMF). He would like to thank Michael for his support and his lifeline ladies (Amanda, Cara & Natalie) for everything they do to bring a smile to his face at all times. Love/thanks to Mom & Dad.
